Slaughter and May is advising Booking Holdings Inc. on its acquisition of Etraveli Group

Slaughter and May is advising Booking Holdings Inc. (Booking Holdings) on its acquisition of global flight booking and technology provider Etraveli Group (Etraveli) from CVC Capital Partners and other minority sellers for approximately €1.6 billion. Etraveli’s consumer-facing online travel agency brands include Gotogate, Mytrip and FlightNetwork. Etraveli also provides flight search, booking and fulfilment services to, among others, Google Flights, Skyscanner, KAYAK and Booking.com, and operates airline integration and interlining platform TripStack. Completion of the acquisition is subject to certain closing conditions, including regulatory approval.

Slaughter and May is working closely with an internal legal team at Booking Holdings led by Xanthe Ranger (Vice President, M&A and Strategic Investments).
