Slaughter and May advised Close Brothers Group plc on its first issuance of £200,000,000 11.125% Fixed Rate Perpetual Subordinated Contingent Convertible Securities (the "Notes").

The Notes constitute an Additional Tier 1 qualifying regulatory capital instrument under the Capital Requirements Regulation, as it forms part of the domestic law of the UK under the European Union (Withdrawal Act) 2018. The Notes will be admitted to trading on the International Securities Market of the London Stock Exchange.
