Slaughter and May is advising Burges Salmon on its Bristol HQ at One Glass Wharf

Slaughter and May, in collaboration with a team from Burges Salmon’s real estate group led by Partner Richard Clark, is advising Burges Salmon on the expansion of its Bristol headquarters at One Glass Wharf. The firm has agreed to take a new lease of the entire building, comprising 216,172 sq. ft. of Grade A workspace, until 2045. As part of the deal, the landlord will undertake a multi-million-pound refurbishment project which will deliver significant sustainability and environmental enhancements, as well as major improvements to the building’s management systems and amenities. The works, which will start later this year, will support the delivery of Burges Salmon’s Carbon Reduction Plan. The expansion provides the firm with significant flexibility to support its future growth ambitions and will be the largest ever office letting in Bristol’s city centre.

Roger Bull, Managing Partner, Burges Salmon: "Our office isn’t just bricks and mortar – it is a core part of how we create a healthy, inclusive and supportive workplace culture across the firm. We’re proud to be a major employer in Bristol and One Glass Wharf is a unique ecosystem where our people enjoy spending time, with spaces designed to champion wellbeing, innovation and connection, support hybrid working and help our community engagement initiatives".
