Slaughter and May advised Standard Chartered on its issue of senior notes

Slaughter and May advised Standard Chartered PLC on its issue of US$1 billion 3.050 per cent. Notes due 2021 under its US$77.5 billion Debt Issuance Programme. Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and Standard Chartered Bank acted as joint lead managers. Sullivan & Cromwell advised as to New York law.
