Jacopo Pelucchi

Jacopo is a Senior Counsel based in our Brussels office. Jacopo has a range of experience in EU and UK competition law and regulatory matters, including merger control, foreign investment, antitrust investigations, competition litigation and general antitrust compliance. 

He has been involved in several high-profile mergers cases before the EU and UK competition authorities. He has also advised on a number of cartel investigations. 

Highlights include advising: 

• Spectris, on its £4.7bn acquisition by KKR
• Johnson Matthey Plc on the £1.3bn sale of its Catalyst Technologies business to Honeywell
• Booking Holdings Inc. on its proposed $1.5bn acquisition of eTraveli Group 

• International Airlines Group on its proposed acquisitions of Air Europa 

• Salesforce on its $15.7bn acquisition of Tableau Software 

• Meggitt on its £6.3bn acquisition by Parker-Hannifin Corporation 

• Netflix on various competition law matters, including on the European Commission’s preliminary AOM investigation
• An automotive starter battery manufacturer in connection with the European Commission’s cartel investigation into the automotive starter battery market

• A number of clients on antitrust audits and leniency applications before the European Commission, the CMA and other competition authorities
