Ensuring access to information during humanitarian disasters
Internews is an international non-profit that trains journalists and digital rights activists to tackle disinformation and offers business expertise to help media outlets become financially sustainable.
Operating in more than 100 countries, the organisation believes everyone deserves trustworthy news and information to make informed decisions about their lives. Many of the journalists and media outlets that Internews supports are based in low-income communities, conflict zones or areas that are prone to humanitarian disasters.
We provide funding and pro bono legal advice to support the organisation’s response to humanitarian crises, which ensures people everywhere can access the information they need to stay safe.
