Seven awards for Slaughter and May and 'Best Friends' group - European Tax Awards 2014
The 'Best Friends' group won seven awards at the European Tax Awards 2014, sponsored by International Tax Review.
The 'Best Friends' group comprising Bonelli Erede Pappalardo, Bredin Prat, De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, Hengeler Mueller, Slaughter and May and Uría Menéndez, won:
- the most prestigious award 'European Tax Firm of the Year'
- 'European Tax Policy Firm of the Year'
Slaughter and May was recognised as leading law firm in its home jurisdiction winning:
- 'UK Tax Firm of the Year'
- 'European Telecommunications and Technology Tax Deal of the Year' for its work advising Vodafone on its disposal of its joint venture interest in Verizon Wireless
