We will be running the following virtual presentations during October and November. Please register your place via the links provided. You will not receive a confirmation email or a link to the event until the day before, but your registration will be confirmed on completion of the registration form.

Disputes and Investigations Case study: Defending the “innocent” party in a fraud transaction

Date: 11/11/2021 at 5pm (UK time)

Event description:

The Disputes and Investigations team advises on a range of complex matters. In this session, one of our Disputes and Investigations associates and a trainee will present our role in defending a client caught up in a tax fraud scheme. With the tax authorities breathing down their necks, the fraudulent companies decided to seek compensation from the companies they traded with, including our client. The case is a long-running saga which could be heading to the Supreme Court later this year.
