Preparing for your training contract interviews
Your training contract interview will take place in week 3 of the scheme. Please find below further details on the format of your interview, and some hints and tips on how to best prepare.

Format
On the day of your training contract interview, please arrive at the 1st floor client reception area at 9:30am to complete the written exercise. You will be provided with a laptop for you to type your answer.
Following the written exercise, you will have a break before your interview which will take place later the same day. Please return to the 1st floor client reception for your article time. You will be given a current affairs article to read for approximately 20 minutes.
Your interview will then take the following format:
- An interview with two partners or a partner and senior counsel
- A short HR interview
We normally find that the partner and HR interview take no more than 2 hours to complete in total. You will not meet with a trainee as part of the interview process as you will already be in the building.
Please note that we cannot confirm the names of your interviewers in advance as this is subject to change.

We will confirm your outcome as soon as possible following the summer work experience scheme.
