Slaughter and May, Hong Kong is advising on the mandatory general offer for China Shengmu Organic Milk Limited

Slaughter and May, Hong Kong is advising CITIC Securities (as financial adviser to China Modern Diary Holdings) in connection with the purchase of shares in, and the subsequent mandatory general offer for, China Shengmu Organic Milk Limited, a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and a leading operator of dairy cow farming and raw milk production in China.

The transaction was announced on 30 October 2025 and remains subject to the fulfilment of certain conditions precedent. The total consideration for the deal is US$264 million assuming full acceptance of the offer.
