Slaughter and May is advising LNT Care Developments on its sales and leaseback agreement with CareTrust REIT

Slaughter and May is advising LNT Care Developments on its sale and leaseback agreement with CareTrust REIT, who have purchased the freehold interests of 45 operational and in-development care homes across England and Wales. Under the terms of the agreement, LNT Care Development’s group operator, Crystal Care Collection, will retain full responsibility for the management and delivery of care services.

LNT Care Developments is the UK’s leading care home developer, specialising in the design, construction and delivery of purpose-built care homes, with over 275 care homes built to-date.  CareTrust REIT, Inc. is a self-administered, publicly-traded real estate investment trust engaged in the ownership, acquisition, development and leasing of skilled nursing, senior housing and other healthcare-related properties.
