Transport
Nairobi is a bustling metropolitan city that it is well connected by its transport system, many places in central Nairobi are easy to walk to and from. Options for getting around include matatus (shared minibuses), buses, taxis, and ride-hailing apps such as Uber and Bolt.

Currency
The official local currency is the Kenyan shilling (KES), although US dollars are accepted in some places such as large hotels, it is still advised to travel into the country with some Kenyan shillings. Climate
Nairobi is fortunate to have a hot and sunny climate all year round but the winter/short-rainy period is considered as one of the more pleasant times of the year to travel to Kenya.
In November temperatures during the day hover around 73 °F (23°C) to 80°F (26°C), during the night, temperatures in the capital drop down to about 60°F (15°C) to 65°F (18°C).
