Slaughter and May advised Blue Motor Finance on pre-pack sale to Hodge Bank

Slaughter and May advised Blue Motor Finance Limited ("Blue Motor Finance") on the sale of its business, completed through a pre-pack administration process, to Hodge Bank. Simon Edel, Alan Hudson and Richard Barker of EY Parthenon were appointed joint administrators of Blue Motor Finance, with the sale to Hodge Bank completing immediately upon their appointment.

Blue Motor Finance is a provider of loans to consumers acquiring used vehicles through a network of dealer and broker partners. The sale of the business to Hodge Bank secures its future as a going concern, with the business, its brand, operations and staff transferring to Hodge Bank, and maximises the value available for distribution to motor finance redress claimants.
