Slaughter and May is advising Baker McKenzie on its new London office

Slaughter and May is advising Baker McKenzie on its new London office at 280 Bishopsgate. 280 Bishopsgate occupies a prominent position on the east side of Bishopsgate in the heart of the City of London and will be extensively refurbished by the landlord, a joint venture between CBRE GI and Arax. Baker McKenzie will take the upper floors in the building, including a dedicated reception, auditorium and private roof terrace. We have advised on all aspects of the transaction including planning, tax and construction.

Alex Chadwick, Baker McKenzie’s London office Managing Partner, says “This is a hugely exciting move for us. Moving into the heart of the City of London represents our long-term commitment to expanding our presence in London. We have an opportunity to create a new, modern and eco-friendly space in which we can collaborate and interact with each other and our clients.”
