Tom Inker is our Head of Construction. Tom’s practice focuses on large-scale infrastructure projects both in the UK and overseas. Tom has vast experience advising both sponsors and contractors on their most complex projects. Tom has acted on power projects, carbon capture, hydrogen, stadia, manufacturing facilities, rail, ports, life sciences, defence systems and commercial office space.

Tom is a ‘ranked’ lawyer in both Chambers & Partners 2024 and Legal500 2024 (for both Construction and Sport).

Highlights include:

  • Kellas Midstream on all procurement and construction aspects (including FEED and EPC) of their multi-billion-pound hydrogen facility adjacent to the CATS terminal being procured on an amended FIDIC

  • Ferrovial on all construction aspects of their multi-million-pound re-organisation of their waste treatment business and the sale of their UK infrastructure business, Amey plc

  • Marubeni on the construction aspects of its Upper Ogmore Wind Farm in South Wales and its associated Hybont Green Hydrogen project

  • Drax Group on the construction and government subsidy aspects of the BECCS carbon capture project at the 2.6GW Drax power station in North Yorkshire

  • Everton Football Club on all procurement and construction aspects of its ambitious new stadium project at Bramley Moore Dock and the associated redevelopment of Goodison Park
