Slaughter and May advised Daily Mail and General Trust Plc on its proposed distributions to shareholders

Slaughter and May advised Daily Mail and General Trust Plc on its proposal to distribute all the shares it holds in Euromoney Institutional Investor Plc and £200m of cash to certain holders of its A Ordinary Shares. The proposed distributions are to be carried out pursuant to a dividend in specie and cash dividend and the number of A Ordinary Shares will be reduced as part of the implementation of the distributions. The distributions require approval at a class meeting.
