Slaughter and May acted for the trustee of the Railways Pension Scheme in RPTCL v Atos. The case concerned interpretation of the Scheme’s rules and regulations under the Railways Act 1993. The Court of Appeal unanimously upheld the reasoning of the High Court where arguments made by the trustee were comprehensively preferred.
