Slaughter and May is advising IDH Group, a Palamon portfolio company, on the sale of the DD Group

Slaughter and May is advising IDH Group (IDH), a portfolio company controlled by Palamon Capital Partners, on its sale of the DD Group (DD) to Sun European Partners, LLP.

DD, formerly branded Dental Directory, is the UK and Ireland’s number one dental and medical aesthetics distributor and service provider. The sale concludes phase one of Palamon’s investment plan to return IDH to a pure-play dental services company, following Palamon’s deal, in partnership with the management team of IDH, to acquire The Carlyle Group’s majority position in August 2021. The transaction is expected to complete in June.
