Slaughter and May advised Athora on its EUR250,000,000 tier 3 bridge facility

Slaughter and May advised Athora Holding Ltd. on its EUR250,000,000 Tier 3 Term Loan Facility with a syndicate of banks (the “Facility”). Athora is a European insurance and reinsurance group, domiciled in Bermuda.

The term loans under the Facility constitute Tier 3 regulatory capital under the Insurance Act 1978 of Bermuda, the Insurance (Group Supervision) Rules 2011 of Bermuda and the Insurance (Prudential Standards) (Insurance Group Solvency Requirement) Rules 2011 of Bermuda.
