Slaughter and May is advising SVG Capital - disposal of its shareholding in Aberdeen SVG Private Equity Managers

Slaughter and May is advising SVG Capital plc (SVG) on the disposal of its 49.9% shareholding in Aberdeen SVG Private Equity Managers Limited to Aberdeen Asset Management PLC. The transaction is subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions and is expected to complete in the the second quarter of 2015. The consideration for the transaction is £29 million and in addition SVG Capital will receive its share of dividends and capital distributions pre-completion, which are expected to take total cash proceeds to approximately £41 million.
