Slaughter and May wins two ALB Hong Kong Law Awards 2016
Slaughter and May has won two ALB Hong Kong Law Awards, the winners of which were announced at the 2016 ALB Hong Kong Law Awards ceremony on Friday, 9 September 2016. The firm has won:
- Deal Firm of the Year 2016
- Equity Market Deal of the Year 2016 (advising China Reinsurance on their US$2 billion IPO and listing of H-Shares)
The ALB Hong Kong Law Awards are an annual celebration of legal excellence in Hong Kong and pay tribute to the outstanding performance of private practitioners and in-house teams from Hong Kong and the region. The judging panel consists of over 30 members from the Hong Kong legal academe, in-house teams, law firms, and legal and business associations. The panel of judges are given one week to review, score and evaluate submission entries by firms – after which they select the top 3 finalists for each award category. The finalist that obtains the highest score in their award category wins. Transactions have to show breadth, complexity, impact, significance and innovation.
