    • Shire on the £47 billion offer by Takeda
    • Arm on the £24 billion offer by SoftBank
    • Meggitt on the £6.3 billion offer by Parker-Hannifin
    • Ultra on the £2.6 billion offer by Cobham
    • Aggreko on the £2.3 billion offer by TDR Capital and I Squared Capital
    • Cable & Wireless Communications on the £3.6 billion offer by Liberty Global
  • GlaxoSmithKline on its £3.1 billion divestment of Horlicks and other consumer healthcare nutrition brands to Unilever as well as on other M&A transactions
  • Arm on the establishment of a $1.5 billion joint venture for Arm's semiconductor technology in China and on a range of other transactions
  • Accenture on a number of transactions including M&A and joint ventures
  • Banco Santander on the $17 billion merger of Alawwal bank with The Saudi British Bank and the proposed combination of Santander Asset Management and Pioneer Investments
  • Shawbrook on the £875 million offer by Pollen Street and BC Partners as well as on other M&A transactions
  • De La Rue on its £100 million turnaround capital raising and its strategic agreement with Epiris in relation to the Group's paper business
  • Valaris on its $7.1 billion Chapter 11 financial restructuring and the $12 billion combination between Ensco and Rowan
  • ContourGlobal on a number of M&A transactions, including its $837 million acquisition of power plants in the United States and Trinidad and Tobago
