Corus on the competing offers received from Tata Steel and Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional ("CSN"). The final offer by Tata Steel valued Corus at approximately £6.7 billion and the combined group created the fifth largest steel company in the world.
Corus on the sale of its downstream aluminium business to Aleris for EUR 826 million and on its refinancing.
Holcim, one of the world’s leading suppliers of cement, aggregates and ready-mix concrete, on its cash bid for Aggregate Industries.
Tata Steel on the refinancing of the long-term debt of its European operations.
CEMEX on the financing aspects relating to its offer to acquire Rinker Group Limited.
Huntsman Corporation on the acquisition of its European base chemicals and polymers business by Saudi Basic Industries Corporation, the Saudi Arabia based petrochemicals company, for US$700 million.
