Jonathan specialises in employee benefits and pensions work. He also advises on employment matters, particularly in relation to directors and senior management.
His work in relation to employee benefits includes advising companies on share awards and options, employee trusts and other bonus and incentive arrangements. He has wide experience of the share plan aspects of corporate transactions, in particular public takeovers and IPOs. Jonathan’s work in relation to pensions includes both general advisory work and advising on the pensions aspects of corporate transactions.
Jonathan is listed as a leading individual in the Employee Share Schemes & Incentives and Pensions sections in Chambers UK, 2018 and in the Employee Share Schemes section of The Legal 500, 2017. He is Chair of the Share Plan Lawyers Group and is also a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers and a contributor to 'Pensions Law and Practice with Precedents'.
