Susie has extensive experience in a wide range of intellectual property matters dealing with all forms of intellectual property rights. Her litigation practice includes experience in the High Court, the Patents County Court and the European Patent Office, and advising in multi-jurisdictional disputes, particularly concerning patents and trade marks. Her experience covers a range of sectors and technology. In addition, Susie is involved in mediation and other forms of dispute resolution.

Her non-contentious experience includes advising on licences, distribution agreements, franchises and the intellectual property and information technology aspects of acquisitions, listings and a range of other transactions.

Susie has a Bachelor of Science degree (Genetics and Biological Sciences) and a Bachelor of Law degree, both from the University of Sydney. She has considerable experience in acting for clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare fields on a range of transactions and contentious matters.

Susie is Head of our Intellectual Property practice and Co-Head of our Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology and Healthcare practice.

She is listed as a leading individual in Chambers 2012 (Intellectual Property).
