Marc’s practice covers a wide range of banking and finance work, including international capital markets, bank lending, leveraged finance, securitisations, structured financings and derivative transactions in which he advises borrowers, lenders, arrangers and counterparties of all kinds. He regularly acts for the treasury departments of financial institutions and large corporations.

Marc is Head of our Debt Capital Markets practice.

During 2007 - 2009 he has advised on numerous public deals in the euromarkets including:

• securitisations by Abbey National and Bradford & Bingley
• covered bond issues by Abbey National
• debt financings and programmes for Abbey National, Banca Comerciala Romana, Bradford & Bingley, Britannia Building Society, IFFIm, 3i, Legal & General, Marks & Spencer, Romania, Royal & Sun Alliance, Skipton Building Society, Unilever and Westpac

Marc has recently acted for HM Treasury in connection with the financial support given to the banking industry, particularly in relation to the Government’s 2008 Credit Guarantee Scheme for UK incorporated banks and UK building societies and the Government's 2009 Asset-Backed Securities Guarantee Scheme for such bodies.

Marc is listed as a leading individual in the Capital Markets: Debt section of Chambers UK, 2010 and Chambers Global, 2009.
