Jeff is involved in a wide range of corporate and commercial work, including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and general corporate advice. He also advises on a range of outsourcing and technology arrangements, and commercial contracts. His experience encompasses both domestic and cross-border transactions, extending to the US, Europe and Asia, and also includes experience of the public as well as the private sector.

Jeff has acted on a number of cross-border mergers of large professional partnerships and is a member of the Association of Partnership Practitioners.

Highlights include advising:

• on the financial restructurings of Royal Mail and Post Office Limited
• Post Office Limited on the establishment of its joint venture with the Bank of Ireland for the sale of Post Office branded financial services products
• on a number of major IT outsourcing contracts for clients such as Ericsson and Shire
• Pilkington on its takeover by NSG
• on proposals for the implementation of the Hooper Report on the future of Royal Mail
