Guy has a wide ranging financing practice which covers banking, capital markets (including liability management), securitisation and structured finance in which he advises issuers, borrowers, lenders and counterparties of all types. He also regularly advises treasury departments of financial institutions and major corporations on general banking and financing matters.

• Punch Taverns plc on refinancing of their whole business securitisation structures
• Prudential plc on perpetual and dated subordinated debt issues
• Santander UK on the establishment and issuance under a regulated covered bond programme
• HM Government on the:
  • resolutions of Northern Rock, Bradford & Bingley and the Icelandic banks in 2008
  • restructuring of Northern Rock in 2009
  • establishment of the 2009 Asset-Backed Securities Guarantee Scheme
