Andrew undertakes a broad range of corporate and corporate finance work. His practice consists principally of acting for corporate clients on domestic and international corporate finance and M&A transactions, including:

• acquisitions and disposals
• mergers and public takeovers
• equity financings
• joint ventures
• restructurings

He also advises generally on day-to-day company law and corporate governance matters.

Andrew is Head of our Sport practice, counting football, in particular, as a specialist area.

Highlights include advising:

• Umeco on the proposed sale of Pattonair
• Arsenal in relation to the recommended mandatory offer by KSE, UK, Inc.
• Cable & Wireless Communications plc on its acquisition of a 51% interest in The Bahamas Telecommunications Company Limited from the Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas
• Santander UK plc on its agreement to acquire the parts of the banking businesses of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group
• Tanjong plc on the English aspects of a conditional offer by Tanjong Capital Sdn Bhd for the entire issued share capital of Tanjong plc
