Allison studied an AB in Science, Technology and Society at Vassar College and then a JD at the University of North Carolina School of Law. She joined the firm in September 2013 and is a Senior Learning and Development Manager, overseeing business skills training at the firm.
What does being a member of PRISM mean to you?
I joined PRISM to meet other LGBT members of the firm when I first arrived. Being in the network provides an excellent opportunity to work and socialise with people from across the firm who I may not otherwise come across. We also provide important support on relevant issues, such as how to support someone's coming out journey.
What are your hobbies and interests?
Since my wife and I welcomed our sons in January 2015 and February 2017, my priorities have definitely changed! I am excellent at reading stories, playing with blocks and building train tracks. I manage to keep fit-ish by cycling on my commute a few days each week, as I don't have time for much else, though I hope to eventually play hockey with the firm's team again. We love to travel as a family, especially to hot, sunny destinations.
