YTL Communications on the conclusion of an agreement to license and develop patented technology and software owned by Sezmi Corporation to build the world's first wireless hybrid broadcast - broadband TV and internet content delivery platform using the 4G wireless broadband telecommunications network (WiMAX) being rolled out by YTL across Malaysia.

HM Treasury, working closely with HM Treasury Legal Advisers, on various issues relating to the banking reform, including on the restructuring of Northern Rock into two entities, consisting of a new savings and mortgage bank and an asset management company.

Ocado, the on-line supermarket, on the IT aspects of its flotation.  The IT issues were strategically important for the float given that many of Ocado's key assets are comprised in its technology, particularly its warehouse technology, delivery routing software and its website.

Royal Mail Group PLC on the rationalisation and renegotiation of certain licence and support arrangements within the Royal Mail Group.

FirstGroup, the UK's leading bus and rail operator, on their licence and support arrangements with SAP. These formed part of the services provided under FirstGroup's wider IT and Telecoms multi-sourcing arrangements.

Global Infrastructure Partners, an independent $5.64 billion investment fund, on its agreement with BAA Airports Limited to acquire London Gatwick Airport. This required specialist IT advice as it involved separating out many shared IT systems and services and drafting and negotiating a long-term and complex Transitional Services Agreement.

Inchcape on a major IT procurement contract with SAP, for the design, development and implementation of core system functionality in dealerships in a number of jurisdictions.

Ericsson in connection with its managed services partnership with Hutchison 3G UK which appoints Ericsson the exclusive manager of the H3G network and its IT infrastructure in the UK.

Symbian on the offer by Nokia R & D (UK) Limited to acquire all the issued and to be issued share capital of Symbian not already owned by Nokia and previously on a global licensing strategy for its operating system for a new generation of wireless devices. Symbian is a joint venture between Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Panasonic and other major handset manufacturers, and is the world's leading wireless operating system.

Carillion, the UK's leading support services company, on an agreement for the sale of its external IT Services business, an outsourcing, network and cabling solutions provider that it acquired with Alfred McAlpine, to Capita.
