We advise on the establishment of fund management businesses, typically where the management team is already known to us and has secured significant financial backing.

Our role normally involves:

• negotiating the shareholders’ agreement that sets out the relationship between the managers and the financial backers
• establishing the fund management vehicle and assisting with its authorisation
• managing the licensing and establishment of the investment vehicle and promotion around the world
