Qatar National Bank on the £1.15 billion financing of two landmark developments, known as The Shard of Glass and London Bridge Palace. The Shard will be the tallest building in the United Kingdom and one of the tallest buildings in Europe. The glass spire reaches 1,004 feet.

Taylor Woodrow on a recommended all share merger with George Wimpey to create Taylor Wimpey, the UK’s largest housebuilding group; and on the sale of Taylor Woodrow Construction and its debt restructuring.

Barratt Developments on a recommended offer for Wilson Bowden, the UK residential property developer; and on a placing and rights issue to raise approximately £720.5 million.

Lend Lease in connection with the development of zones two - seven of Stratford City, London including the Olympic Village.

Punch Taverns on a number of major pubs, hotels and restaurant transactions including the refinancing of its Punch Taverns Finance securitisation. In recent years, we have acted for Punch and others on transactions involving over 8,000 pubs for an aggregate consideration of more than £10 billion.

Carillion on a recommended offer for Alfred McAlpine plc to create one of the largest support services and construction companies in the UK.

Arsenal on the arrangements for its move to the Emirates Stadium. The overall cost of the project, which included construction of the stadium and regeneration of the area, is estimated at £357 million. The Arsenal Stadium has been nominated as Infrastructure Journal's 'Deal of the Decade'.

Grosvenor on the establishment of the Preston Tithebarn Partnership, a joint venture with Lend Lease Europe Limited for the redevelopment of Preston town centre.

Songbird Estates on an underwritten placing and compensatory offer, and issue of preference shares and a new credit facility.

Land Securities and Derwent London on their conversion to a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT).

Land Securities on the sale of Trillium, a pioneer and market leader in the property partnerships market, to Telereal.
