Royal Courts of Justice building

We have a long history of providing free legal advice to charities and individuals.

Our pro bono work falls into two categories:

  • law centre volunteering - every week we provide teams of volunteer advisers to staff two London law centres: the Legal Advice Centre in Bethnal Green and Islington Law Centre, and an additional team of qualified litigators serve as Honorary Legal Advisers at the RCJ Advice Bureau
  • charity clients - we provide our charity partners with pro bono support whenever it is required and actively seek ways in which our legal expertise might be used to support their causes.  We are also members of a number of pro bono referral organisations such as LawWorks, A4ID and TrustLaw which enable us to reach many different types of charities and community groups, locally and globally

Find out more about LawWorks, A4ID and TrustLaw by visiting their websites.
