Jonathan advises in relation to all aspects of competition and regulatory work including merger control, foreign investment, antitrust, sectoral regulation, competition litigation and subsidy control.
Recent experience includes advising:
- Deliveroo on Amazon’s acquisition of a minority interest in Deliveroo;
- RSA on its acquisition by a consortium comprising Intact and Tryg;
- Signature Aviation on its acquisition by a consortium comprising Blackstone, Global Infrastructure Partners and Cascade;
- Meggitt on its proposed acquisition by Parker-Hannifin;
- BHP on the disposal of its interest in the Cerrejon coal mine to Glencore;
- Fortress Investment Group on its proposed acquisition of Morrisons;
- HM Treasury on the establishment of the National Infrastructure Bank;
- Diageo on its acquisition of Chase Distillery; and
- Marston’s on the creation of its new joint venture partnership with Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company.
