Workspace Group - Rights issue
Slaughter and May is advising Workspace Group PLC ('Workspace') on a rights issue to raise approximately £63 million (net of expenses).
The rights issue, which was announced on 07 July 2011, will provide Workspace with additional financial resources to accelerate the investment programme across its existing portfolio and take advantage of attractively priced property.
Rothschild is acting as sole sponsor and financial adviser and Espirito Santo Investment Bank and Investec are acting as joint bookrunners, brokers and underwriters.
The new ordinary shares have been admitted to the Official List and have been admitted to trading, nil paid, on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities.
