Westbrook Partners - Acquisition of Eastburn Industrial Portfolio

Slaughter and May advised Westbrook Partners on the acquisition of the Eastburn Industrial Portfolio for approximately £35 million. The portfolio is comprised of a number of industrial estates located nationwide including properties in Shepley, Thame, Doncaster, Bedford and Walsall. Slaughter and May also advised on the associated financing and the management and corporate agreements entered into between Westbrook and its investment partners. Reed Smith also advised Westbrook as part of the due diligence exercise and in negotiations with sellers. Contracts were exchanged for the acquisition on 10 November 2011 and completion of the last property took place on 2 December 2011.
