Slaughter and May advised RBS Hoare Govett, NM Rothschild, Barclays Capital and Arden Partners in relation to the 9 for 8 rights issue by Pendragon PLC to raise gross proceeds of approximately £75.2 million (approximately £70.8 million net of expenses).

The rights issue, which was announced on 14 July 2011, was fully underwritten by RBS Hoare Govett, Barclays Capital and Arden Partners. RBS Hoare Govett acted as joint financial adviser, joint sponsor, joint bookrunner, joint underwriter and joint corporate broker. NM Rothschild acted as joint financial adviser and joint sponsor. Barclays Capital acted as joint bookrunner and joint underwriter. Arden Partners acted as joint underwriter, co-bookrunner and joint corporate broker.
