RBS Asset Management - Acquisition of Whiteaway Laidlaw Bank
Slaughter and May advised RBS Asset Management Limited (through its Special Opportunities Fund) on the acquisition of Whiteaway Laidlaw Bank Limited from the Manchester Building Society for an undisclosed sum and on associated capital investments by RBS Asset Management in Whiteaway Laidlaw.
The acquisition, which was conditional on regulatory approval, completed on 31 January 2011.
