PRADA - US$2.14 billion IPO and listing on Hong Kong Stock Exchange

Slaughter and May advised PRADA S.p.A. in relation to its initial public offering and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The offering raised US$2.14 billion.

PRADA is one of the world's most prestigious fashion and luxury goods groups. PRADA designs, manufactures, promotes and sells high-end leather goods, ready-to-wear and footwear through the Prada, Miu Miu, Church's and Car Shoe brands.

PRADA is expected to list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 24 June 2011. The listing will be the first Hong Kong listing by an Italian company.

Slaughter and May worked as an integrated team with Bonelli Erede Pappalardo (Italian counsel) and Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP (US counsel).
