Slaughter and May advised Moody's Corporation on its acquisition of a majority stake in the Copal Partners' group of companies, leading providers of outsourced research and analytical services to institutional customers. Slaughter and May advised on this complex cross-border acquisition in conjunction with local counsel in Argentina, China, Cyprus, Hong Kong, India, Jersey, Mauritius, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. The acquisition was announced on 14 November 2011.
