International Airlines Group - Purchase of BMI
Slaughter and May is advising International Airlines Group ('IAG') on its agreement with Deutsche Lufthansa AG ('Lufthansa') for IAG to acquire British Midland Limited ('bmi'), for £172.5 million in cash, subject to significant reductions.
The agreement was announced on 22 December 2011 and follows on from a previous announcement regarding the proposed purchase on 4 November 2011.
