Helphire Group - Amendment and extension of banking facilities
Slaughter and May advised Helphire Group plc ("Helphire"), one of the UK's leading providers of accident management services, on the amendment and extension to December 2012 of its banking facilities, which are provided by a syndicate of lenders comprising Bank of Scotland plc, The Royal Bank of Scotland plc and AIB Group (UK) plc. This involved, among other things, advising Helphire in connection with issues arising out of the overstatement of ABI receivables in prior years' accounts and the subsequent re-negotiation of the terms of its banking facilities.
