Derwent London - Sale of a development site

Slaughter and May advised Derwent London plc on the sale of a development site at 18-30 Leonard Street, London, adjacent to its existing commercial office building at 1 Oliver’s Yard. The sale was made by way of the grant of a 999-year lease. The Purchaser was a special purpose vehicle of the London Square residential homebuilder’s group. The development will comprise commercial space at basement, ground and first floor levels and seven floors of residential units.
