Accsys Technologies - Placing and open offer

Slaughter and May are advising Accsys Technologies PLC on a firm placing and placing and open offer, underwritten by Numis Securities Limited, to raise EUR 30 million.

The net proceeds of the fundraising, which was announced on 04 February 2011, will be used to meet short term working capital requirements, ongoing operating costs and construction costs for the proposed expansion of Accsys's plant at Arnhem in The Netherlands.

Houthoff Buruma advised Accsys on Dutch law aspects. Mayer Brown advised Numis and the joint broker and Nomad, Matrix Corporate Capital LLP.
