Slaughter and May advised Abbey National Treasury Services plc and Santander UK plc in relation to the update and revision of its multi-Issuer U.S.$20,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term Note Programme. The senior notes are guaranteed by Santander UK plc. The dealers under the programme are Banco Santander, S.A., Barclays Bank PLC, BNP Paribas, Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, Goldman Sachs International, The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, HSBC Bank plc, J.P.
