Slaughter and May is advising Newmont Mining Corporation, one of the world's largest gold producers, on its possible offer for Triple Plate Junction plc and Newmont's 20% participation in a placing of new ordinary shares by Triple Plate Junction.
The placing and possible offer were announced on 10 November.
