New Look - Initial Public Offering on London Stock Exchange

Slaughter and May is advising New Look on a proposed initial public offering of shares to raise approximately £650 million and listing on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. There is also the possibility of a limited secondary sell-down by existing shareholders (including Apax and Permira).

New Look is a leading UK fast fashion retailer operating in the growing value segment of the apparel market and has been under private equity ownership since 2004.

Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch and J.P. Morgan Cazenove Limited are acting as joint sponsor and joint bookrunners. Lazard & Co., Limited is acting as joint sponsor. Barclays Bank PLC, Lloyds TSB Bank plc, RBS Hoare Govett Limited and Singer Capital Markets Limited are acting as co-managers.

The proposed flotation was announced on 02 February 2010.
