John Wood - Acquisition of PSN Limited

Slaughter and May is advising John Wood Group PLC on its acquisition of PSN Limited from certain institutional vendors and members of its existing management for a total enterprise value of US $955 million. PSN will merge with Wood Group's Production Facilities business to create the leading global brownfield production services provider, Wood Group PSN.

The transaction, which is subject to relevant anti-trust approvals, was announced on 13 December 2010 and is expected to complete in the second quarter of 2011.
