GlaxoSmithKline - Proposed acquisition of Maxinutrition
Slaughter and May, supporting the GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in-house legal team on corporate aspects with Nabarro supporting on competition aspects, advised GSK on the proposed acquisition of Maxinutrition, the UK's leading sports nutrition company, from Darwin Private Equity for approximately £162 million in cash (including the repayment of outstanding debt).
The acquisition was announced on 13 December 2010.
